Group Term Life Insurance

CAPE union members are provided a $30,000 group term life insurance policy automatically upon approval of union membership at no cost. As of July 1, 2017, the CAPE group term life insurance is provided through Symetra.

CAPE union members have access to the invaluable services of Travel Assistance and Identity Theft Protection through Symetra.

The Symetra Travel Assistance program provides services for union members and their family’s travel, which includes Medical and Concierge Services. Travel Assistance is available at no additional cost on life plans. CAPE union members also have available Symetra’s Identity Theft Protection Program. Identity theft is a rising concern that can happen to anyone. The Symetra Identity Theft Protection Program provides you with information to protect yourself and step-by-step coaching to help you identify and resolve identity theft. The Symetra Identity Theft Protection Program is available at no additional cost on life plans and includes assistance for you and your immediate dependent family members.
